Day 1: From Matches to Coastline
Afternoon | Coastal Safari
After the fanfare of the matches in Atlanta head to the coast for a restorative retreat in nature along the Kiawah River. Arrive by late afternoon, and get a lay of the land by sea with a Coastal Safari - The Dunlin’s river cruise adventure - where a naturalist will guide you in an immersion of the biodiverse ecosystems along the marsh.
Evening | Cocktails and Bites in the Willet Room
Indulge in oysters, craft cocktails and local fresh catch in The Dunlin’s lively Willet Room. Catch the sunset on the porch with sweeping river panoramas before retreating to the interior for a night cap.
Day 2: Reset in Nature
Morning | Camp Dunby Football Adventures
The littlest explorers can start their day at Camp Dunby, The Dunlin’s Kids Club, for a series of football-inspired activities and outdoor explorations that reflect the spirit of the game such as creative team-pennant crafting and river-marsh scavenger hunts.
Mid-morning | Treatments at Aster, Wellbeing by Auberge
A restorative morning of bodywork and French skincare await at Aster, Wellbeing by Auberge to ensure a full recovery from the excitement of the matches.
Afternoon | Explorations in Kiawah River
Explore Kiawah River’s 2,000 acres using The Dunlin’s house bikes. Wander the 20 miles of backwoods trails. Break for popsicles or fresh peaches at Rosebank Farm Stand during your adventures.
Dinner | Coastal Dining at Linnette’s
Ease into the evening at The Dunlin’s signature restaurant, Linnette’s, where the culinary talent of our Michelin-Key Hotel take center stage with dishes that offer a fresh take on southern favorites. Try the crab rice or fried chicken before heading to the Salt Meadow for late night s’mores by the fire.
Day 3 - Lowcountry Immersion
Morning | Farm Tour
Spend the final day of your stay immersed in local Lowcountry traditions starting with a tour of The Goatery, a regenerative working farm located centrally within our Kiawah River community. Collect freshly laid eggs, visit the cows and goats and sample some goat cheese made fresh on the farm.
Mid-Day | Sea to Sand Adventures with Juliska
Enjoy a scenic boat excursion to a nearby beach where we will bring along all the beach essentials and a thoughtfully curated picnic featuring Juliska’s iconic heritage dinnerware and linens. A limited-time experience this June - August, the Juliska Sea to Sand excursion transforms a day at the beach into an elevated summer memory.
Late Afternoon | Crabbing & Casting
Join us at the dock in the late afternoon for a coastal sealife immersion guided by local anglers. Learn more about the area’s tidal creeks and estuaries as well as the diverse marine life distinct to Kiawah River and walk away knowing how to set a crap trap, throw a cast net and fish with bait lines in this family friendly experience.
Evening | Dinner on your porch
After a day of adventures, unwind with in-room-dining on your porch. Take in the river views and sunset while soaking in the serenity of nature’s rhythms and the whistling of the Carolina wren.
