Where whimsical Southern style meets modern coastal living, The Dunlin Edit is a new series of design-led events meant to inspire creativity, gather community and connect nature’s embrace with fresh design concepts. Join us on the river this fall to celebrate the art of craftsmanship in design at The Dunlin.

    Designer Nathan Turner, one of the country’s top interior decorators and lifestyle experts, comes by his unique American laid-back, high-style honesty. A fifth-generation Californian, Nathan Turner has spent time across the Golden State. It infuses his designs with every senseof its heritage, from sunny color to natural texture to bold, fun touches.

  • Lia Burke Libaire

    September 25-26, 2026

    Lia Burke Libaire is a Charleston based visual artist and designer. She began her career in New York City, translating her love of art and architecture into the world of interior design where she worked for 12 years. Libaire’s work has been featured in Vogue, Brides, and Garden & Gun among others. She is the co-founder and artist behind textile company Brier and Byrd.

  • Roxy Owens

    October 23-24, 2026

    As the Founder of Society Social, Roxy Owens blends her North Carolina manufacturing roots with a sophisticated digital strategy to redefine traditional design for a new generation. Recognized by House Beautiful and Vogue for her vibrant, custom-upholstered silhouettes, Roxy’s signature look brings a spirited warmth and artisanal touch to the guest experience at The Dunlin.

  • Nick Mele

    Nick’s work has been the subject of solo exhibitions at some of the nations most exclusive private clubs, hotels and retail outlets; most notably being his recent takeover of the entire 7th floor of Bergdorf Goodman in New York. Mele’s photographs have been featured in a myriad of online and print publications including Town & Country, The New York Times, Avenue, Architectural Digest, Veranda, Vogue and Vanity Fair. His commercial clients include brands such as Vineyard Vines, Sam Edelman, J.McLaughlin and Lilly Pulitzer, as well as several high end hotels and interior designers.
