  • On the Trails

    Explore the quaint Hancock neighborhood surrounding the Estate. With independent shops and restaurants, the Hyde Park area can create an afternoon of exploring. If you want to venture a little farther out, take a walk around Town Lake, hike Mount Bonnell or go for a round of frisbee golf at Zilker Park.

  • On the Water

    If you prefer your activity on the water, grab a picnic and spend the day on Lady Bird Lake. Canoe, paddle boat or kayak in the heart of the city.

  • On the Links

    Bring your golf clubs if you'd like to try out the 9-hole public Hancock Golf Course across the street. Founded in 1899 by Lewis Hancock, the golf course is one of the oldest golf courses in Texas. Located in the heart of Austin, this par 35, 9-hole walking course carries up and down hills over beautiful Waller Creek and features small, well-manicured greens typical of the era in which it was built.
