Introducing Auberge Insiders Actress and Entrepreneur Kyle Richards's Guide to Aspen
For actress, entrepreneur and tastemaker Kyle Richards, Aspen is more than a destination. It’s part of her rhythm. Over the years, she’s come to know the town in every season, gravitating toward its natural beauty, iconic spots and the sense of ease it brings. At the center of it all is Hotel Jerome, where cozy family dinners and lively nights with friends unfold against a backdrop of storied charm. Her Aspen guide reflects a personal connection built over time – effortless, timeless and distinctly her own.

Day 1
Morning | Mountain Movements
Aspen has no shortage of beautiful trails, and a morning hike is the perfect way to clear your head, break a sweat and take in the views. It’s something that always feels grounding, no matter how many times you do it.
Afternoon | Retail Reset with Kemo Sabe
Afternoons are best spent wandering through Aspen’s boutiques, from fashion and beauty staples to the kind of home pieces you didn’t know you needed. And of course, it wouldn’t be a trip to Aspen without a stop at Kemo Sabe. You know I love my hats, boots and western accessories. They have all of it and more!
Evening | Drinks in Hotel Jerome’s Garden
I like to meet for a drink outdoors at Hotel Jerome’s Garden. It’s the cutest outdoor area and I always see people hanging out and enjoying the day. They have great margaritas and I personally love the French Bloom nonalcoholic champagne they offer.
Day 2
Morning | Farmers Market Finds and Local Flavor
Start the day with a coffee and muffin from Paradise Bakery. It’s easy, delicious and the perfect first stop. Then, head to the farmers market, a Saturday morning staple filled with fresh produce and local finds. The atmosphere is always lively, and one of the best parts is seeing all the cute dogs everyone brings along.
Afternoon | Recharge and Restore at Yarrow
A yoga class at O2 followed by a massage back at Hotel Jerome is the kind of afternoon that feels just right. It’s calm, grounding and the perfect way to slow things down.
Evening | Dinner in Town Followed by Live Music at Belly Up
Cache Cache is a favorite for dinner with amazing food and an easy, lively atmosphere. After that, Belly Up is always a hit for live music and a great end to the night.“I’ve always been inspired by the cozy interior – I love the mix of historic and Western art.”
Day 3
Morning | On the Water
There’s something about paddle boarding on the river first thing in the morning. It’s quiet, the light is soft and the views are unreal.
Afternoon | Lunch at Ajax
Lunch at Ajax Tavern is a classic. Right at the base of the gondola, with one of the best cheeseburgers in town, it’s the perfect spot to sit back and take it all in.
Evening | The Hurst Theatre
I like to enjoy the outdoor theater productions at the Hurst Theatre in the John Denver Sanctuary – such a fun way to spend a summer evening. It’s right in the heart of town, just a short walk from Hotel Jerome, and it always feels like one of those only-in-Aspen kind of nights.
