    Yes, communication via text is available and is activated upon arrival.
  • What time is check-in and checkout at the hotel?
    Check-in is at 3 PM and check out is at 12 PM.  We will always do our best to accommodate guests regardless of the time of arrival.
  • Is there a late checkout fee?
    Late check out is subject to availability and upon request. Should a fee be required a team member will advise at the time of request.

    Collegio alla Querce is a non-smoking property.
  • What parking amenities are available?
    Valet service is available exclusively for in house guests at a rate of €60 per night. For external guests, parking is available free of charge for up to three hours with validation of visit to the spa or restaurants. Outside guests are not permitted to park overnight.

    Cancellation policies vary depending on the dates of your reservation, the offer or room type selected.   • Is there anything new or noteworthy about renovations?
    Collegio alla Querce is a brand new property that opened on March 2nd, 2025.
  • Does Collegio alla Querce have any seasonal closures?
    No, Collegio alla Querce is open year round, however pool service and our poolside restaurant, Il Bosco, are only open May 1 – September 30, with opening and closing dates subject to change.

  • Does your property charge a resort fee?
    No, there is no resort fee.

Spa Fees

  • Does your property charge any wellness/spa fees?
    There are no additional fees, however every treatment or program price is subject to 10% VAT.

Transportation

  • How far is the hotel from the airport?
    15 minutes by car from Aeroporto di Firenze – Peretola. Private transportation can be arranged through your itinerary designer or taxis are available upon exiting the airport.
  • Does your resort offer a shuttle service?
    Yes, the hotel offers shuttle service from Collegio alla Querce to Palazzo Tornabuoni every hour from 9.30 AM to 9.30 PM. Shuttle departs Collegio alla Querce on the hour and from Palazzo Tornabuoni on the half hour.
  • Does your resort offer a house car?
    The resort does not have house cars, however shuttle service, taxis and private transportation can be arranged at any time.

    Currency is accepted in Euros.

  • Is there a cost for additional guests in room?
    A supplement of €120 + 10% VAT per night applies on rollaway beds for guests aged 12 and above. Children under 12 years old stay free of charge. Please note that in the case of promotional offers that include complimentary nights, the extra guest supplement does not apply to the free night.

Pet Policies

  • What is the pet fee?
    Pets are welcome at Il Bosco and on the terrace of La Gamella, with dogs of all sizes also accommodated indoors at La Gamella. Table placement is thoughtfully arranged according to the dog’s size and the flow of service.
    Service dogs are welcomed in indoor spaces, with the exception of Aelia Spa and La Palestra.
  • Are support animals allowed?
    Yes, service animals are allowed and are welcome free of charge.
  • Are there any weight or breed limits?
    Yes, the weight limit is 7kg.

Housekeeping and Laundry Services

  • Do you have laundry and dry cleaning facilities?
    Laundry, pressing and dry cleaning service are available on-site.
  • How do I get my clothes pressed?
    This can be coordinated by dialing housekeeping from your guest room.
  • Do you have a lost and found?
    Yes, we do have a lost and found. Please contact the front desk with questions or to report a lost item.
  • How frequent is housekeeping?
    Housekeeping is twice daily, morning and evening turndown service unless requested otherwise.
  • Is there a cost for laundry?
    Laundry, dry cleaning and pressing services are priced individually, and can be found in your guest room. Should you require pricing in advance please request from your itinerary designer.

      The Pool is open daily from 9 AM to 7 PM for hotel guests only. Children are welcome to enjoy the pool; however, those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult for their safety and comfort.

      Aelia Spa offers four treatment rooms with a range of therapies. In-room massages are available exclusively for Suite guests.

    Analjit Singh, founder of Leeu Collection, is the owner of Collegio alla Querce. In Sanskrit, Singh means “lion,” which is leeu in Afrikaans. Leeu Collection comprises three five-star boutique properties across South Africa’s Winelands, a luxury country retreat Windermere, England, and Collegio alla Querce in Florence, Italy.
