Climb the stairs to the secluded second floor of Primland’s former horse stables and discover traditional Southern food and music at its best. Available year-round for private parties and events, the rustic Stables Saloon regularly hosts live bluegrass music concerts and is part of the Crooked Road: Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail. Enjoy a Southern supper menu featuring family-style favorites in a laid-back atmosphere that will have you never wanting to leave.

This intimate and stunning space showcases the resort’s nearly 450 labels from over 18 countries and the world’s finest vineyards, including our sister property, Domaines Schlumberger in France’s Alsace region, with history that dates back to the 1600s. Seating up to 12 guests, the cellar is the perfect place for a celebratory dinner, group wine tasting, executive cocktail hour and more. A blend of Old and New world, the Schlumberger Wine Cellar has wine varietals to complement all of the exceptional fare offered at The Lodge at Primland.
