Chem Chem Lodge Wins Two 2025 World Travel Awards

We are thrilled to announce that Chem Chem has been honored with not one but two prestigious awards at the 2025 World Travel Awards. We’ve been named Africa’s Leading Luxury Safari Lodge as well as Tanzania’s Leading Luxury Safari Lodge.

These awards cement our reputation s not just a premier safari destination but as leaders in sustainable tourism and conservation in the safari industry. This honor is a testament to our commitment to providing authentic, transformative safari experiences while supporting local communities and protecting Tanzania’s incredible natural heritage.

Four members of our team attended the WTA gala ceremony on 28 June to accept these incredible honors on behalf of Chem Chem.

This recognition wouldn’t be possible without the dedication, passion, and exceptional service of every member of the Chem Chem team. From our guides, who share their expertise and love for wildlife, to our hospitality staff, who ensure every guest feels welcome, and, of course, the Chem Chem Association team, who work tirelessly to protect the wilderness we call home.
