Mila

Contact

A camp on the cusp of golden plains, Mila sits within one of the Serengeti's best-kept secrets — the remote and abundant Nyasirori. This is lion country: large prides roaming an ancient landscape of sprawling savannahs, meandering rivers, and resplendent sunsets. There is something here that feels untouched — a place that seems to exist outside of time, carrying the romance of safari's golden age. Far from the Serengeti's busier circuits, and intimate by design, Mila is a place where — cocooned within canvas — the wild feels entirely uninterrupted.

Reasons to fall in love with it

  • Lion country

The Nyasirori is lion country, where large prides hunt the open plains and, occasionally, lounge among the branches of acacias. Few places in the Serengeti offer encounters quite like these.

  • Remote and abundant

The remoteness of the region makes it a haven for wildlife throughout the year. Here, there are no peak seasons, no quiet months — just unforgettable encounters every day, without the crowds.

  • The Great Migration's rutting season at your doorstep

Experience one of the Migration's most overlooked spectacles at Mila: the rutting season, when thousands of wildebeest compete, call, and clash across the plains of the Nyasirori.

  • Flexible and private

The wilderness at Mila is yours to explore on your terms with your own private vehicle, your own guide, and your own schedule.

  • Al fresco dining

At Mila, the table is wherever the light is best, from lunch under an acacia as the plains stretch out around you to sundowners by the fire as the sun slips below the horizon.

  • All-inclusive

Every stay is all-inclusive in the truest sense — meals and drinks, a private vehicle and guide, unlimited game drives, select cultural experiences, and transfers to and from airstrips. The details are taken care of; the wild is yours to explore.
