A Closer Look at Chem Chem Lodge
The lodge's seven tented suites and family unit are designed for seclusion — each one set well apart from the next, with nature your only neighbor. Step inside and the wilderness follows: stone meeting canvas and sisal, wooden furnishings hand-carved on site, and the sounds of the bush filtering through. The details center restoration — king beds dressed in bespoke linen and reading nooks made for slow afternoons. Outside, a lantern-lit shower and private patio, where you can sip coffee as wildlife wanders by.

- Children aged 4 and older are welcome
- Suites accommodate up to 3 guests
- Children under 15 are required to share with an adult; a single bed can be arranged for children up to 15 years old (subject to availability; prior booking required)
- The family unit (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) and can accommodate up to 3 children and 2 adults
- Guests aged 16 and over occupy their own rooms at adult rates
- All children must be accompanied by parents/guardians on all safari activities
- If the lodge is hired exclusively, children of all ages are welcome
Location & Access
The lodge is open year-round, with the exception of a short break from early April to mid-May.
The closest airstrip, Chem Chem’s private airstrip, is a ± 15-minute game drive transfer from the lodge and is accessible through all scheduled local carriers (arrival and departure transfers are included)
The lodge is a ± 45-minute game drive transfer from both Little Chem Chem and Forest Chem Chem
