Generously spaced across the grasses, the camp's eight tented rooms and family unit open onto the boundless plains. Each one is an explorer's refuge — canvas walls aglow with lamplight, rich textiles bringing color and character to a setting awash with green. Hot showers and king beds promise respite from the day's action, every detail designed to restore in anticipation of adventures to come.

    • The camp can be partially reserved for exclusive use. The exclusive-use section comprises two tented rooms and a family unit — ideal for larger family groups
    • Tented rooms can accommodate up to 3 guests
    • Children under 15 are required to share with an adult; a single bed can be arranged for children up to 15 years old (subject to availability; prior booking required)
    • The family unit (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) can accommodate 2 children (under 16) and 2 adults
    • Guests aged 16 and over occupy their own rooms at adult rates
    • Children on safari activities at the discretion of parents and guides

Location & Access

Mwiba Plains sits within the Greater Mwiba Protected Wildlife Area, an exclusive-use protected wildlife area on the southern edge of the greater Serengeti ecosystem — the heart of the Great Migration's calving grounds.

  • The camp opens in December 2026

  • The closest airstrip, Mwiba’s private airstrip, is a ± 1-hour game drive transfer from the camp and is accessible through all scheduled local carriers (arrival and departure transfers are included)

  • Helipad available by prior arrangement — booking before arrival is essential
